One For the Money – dir. Julie Robinson, starring Katherine Heigl, Jason O’Mara, John Leguizamo. Rated PG-13
Our spunky heroine, Stephanie Plum, is adrift after getting a divorce and losing her job. To make ends meet, she becomes a bounty hunter, with her first big case revolving around a high school boyfriend who may be falsely accused. We’re just unsure if her hair is better than Dog’s. Come on, mullet’s automatically mean “bounty hunter.”

The Devil Inside – dir. William Brent Bell, starring Simon Quarterman, Evan Helmuth. Rated R
Another scary movie that uses the tried and true technique of hand-held cameras and scrobbled video tape to up the creep factor. This thriller follows a woman’s quest to find the truth behind claims that her mother killed three people during an exorcism. The daughter’s journey takes her to Italy, where she becomes involved in other exorcisms.

Escape From Alcatraz – dir. Don Siegel, starring Clint Eastwood, Fred Ward, Patrick McGoohan. Rated PG
A Clint Eastwood classic. Sent to Alcatraz for life, hardened crook Frank Morris plans his unauthorized departure from the island prison. Enlisting two bank-robber brothers as accomplices, Morris meticulously works out every detail before commencing his daring escape attempt.

The Untouchables – dir. Brian de Palma, starring Kevin Costner, Robert De Niro, Sean Connery. Rated R
One of the great American crime epics put through the lens with an equally epic budget. G-Man Eliot Ness will stop at nothing to take down legendary gangster Al Capone — even if it means bending some rules — in director Brian De Palma’s period crime drama penned by playwright David Mamet.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day – dir. James Cameron, starring Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Edward Furlong. Rated R
In this sequel, director James Cameron delivers scene after scene of action-packed thrills. A bigger, better Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is gunning for a shape-shifting T-1000 who’s out to kill John Connor (Edward Furlong), the son of Sarah (Linda Hamilton), the original Terminator’s nemesis. This film is also noted for having one of the greatest truck driving stunts performed during the central chase scene.

World Trade Center – dir. Oliver Stone, starring Nicolas Cage, Maria Bello, Stephen Dorff. Rated PG-13
A gripping docudrama set amid the rubble of Sept. 11, 2001. Working under treacherous conditions, an army of dedicated rescuers struggles to find anyone who survived the World Trade Center’s tragic collapse. The clock is ticking and the world is watching.
