Lee has had a taste of success in the country celebrity spotlight, but he’s been making connections in Nashville since 2005. His first big success by helping Garth Brooks create his monster smash “More Than a Memory” which was the only Billboard Country single until then to debut at #1.
Collaboration to create country songs that have heart and soul with few gimmicks is where Lee continues to shine, both as a man behind the scenes and on the stage. His biggest hit, “Love Like Crazy” began its slow, legendary country chart climb, taking a record-making 56 week journey into the Top 10, the longest charting song in country music history.
He’s also done his share of good deeds to balance his country karma, during an incident in January when Lee sensed something wasn’t right on his buddy Jerrod Niemann’s tour bus. Lee went outside to investigate while Jarrod’s crew was snoozing after a long show. He noticed black smoke pouring out of the side. He quickly ran back in, awoke everyone and was able to get everyone out in time.
Niemann added, So we get everyone off “ my family and everyone, and pretty soon we hear this ˜Boom!’ and we think it’s the fuel line, but we look and the whole front windshield was just blown out.
But after just a taste of success on the country music circuit, Lee’s newest effort is set to shine (and sell). This is the official video that’s burning up the Country single charts from Lee Brice’s upcoming album “Hard 2 Love.” It’s a tender but humorous ballad to a special lady in Lee’s life. It’s basically a showcase of all the things he was doing in his life that never got him anywhere, except that they somehow brought them together.
