Service information for Dale “The Truckin’ Bozo” Sommers has been announced. Those who wish to pay their respects to the late radio host who helped many make it through the long, lonely hours over the road can do so on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Christ’s Church at 5165 Western Row Road in Mason, Ohio. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. and the memorial service is set to begin at noon.
The family has requested that those who wish to make memorial contributions to send them to the Eastgate Community Church Building Fund 3235 Omni Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45245.
Cincinnati.com reported that Sommer’s son, Sean Compton, told the paper that Sommers’ family has planned a tribute that will be the way Sommers wanted it– entertaining, not sad.
