Expert Advice: What Every Trucker Should Know

Published:

What Every Trucker Should KnowTruck drivers rarely have many professionals who back them up. Paul Taylor of the Truckers Justice Center may be one of those few.

Paul currently travels the country to trucking conventions and new media events with a presentation that every trucker should see – it’s called “What Every Truck Driver Should Know.” It explains how truckers can protect themselves and their CDL status using the Surface Transportation Assistance Act (STAA) from industry hazards such as employer harassment, false DAC reports and accident claims.

By sharing notable cases and providing easy to follow tips, Attorney Paul Taylor empowers truck drivers to understand that they can fight back against wrongful behavior, keep their CDL and in some cases keep their driving job.

Paul is one of the few lawyers who truly understand how trucking carriers are able to manipulate policies in order to harass truck drivers and he is willing to take them on in the courtroom. His significant cases are a testament to the courage few have shown to challenge carriers that abuse and attempt to destroy the careers of hard-working drivers everywhere.

The videos we have for you today are from Paul’s presentation at the 2011 Trucking Social Media Convention. Although the audio quality isn’t that great, please take the time and listen to what he has to say. Someday your job and family’s well-being may just depend on it.
