Freebies For Dads On Father’s Day!

Published:

Freebies For Father's DayFathers Day is just around the corner! On Mother’s Day, CDL Life gave you a list of freebies for moms.  Many of you asked that we do the same for Father’s Day, and we’re happy to comply.

Here’s a list we found on livingonthecheap.com:

  • Dad can eat free at Spaghetti Warehouse on Father’s Day. The freebie entrees are lasagna or spaghetti. Because Spaghetti Warehouse is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, any dad born in 1972 will get a free brownie sundae on Father’s Day, too. (Note: This freebie is not valid in Columbus, Ohio.)
  • Get to IKEA early on Father’s Day (before 11 a.m.) and Dad gets a free IKEA breakfast. (Note: The IKEA in Paramaus, N.J. is offering this freebie on Saturday, June 16, instead.)
  • Beef ˜O’ Brady’s is thanking dads with a free meal during its Dads Eat Free promotion June 17.  This offer is valid up to a $10 value with purchase of another entree at participating Beef O’ Brady’s locations.
  • Treat dad to free TCBY yogurt on Father’s Day. The promotion may vary by location, because the Free Yogurt for Dad box on the bottom of the TCBY home page and the TCBY Facebook page refer to you local stores for details.
  • When you treat dad to brunch between 11:30 a.m and 3 p.m. June 17 at Fleming’s Steakhouse, he’ll get a $25 gift card free.
  • Send Dad a Father’s Day e-card via the Denny’s website, and you’ll both receive a coupon for a Pancake Puppies Sundae.
  • At participating Caribou Coffee shops, buy any beverage and Dad gets his drink free. Print out and bring inthis coupon or show it on your smartphone.
  • Tijuana Flats is offering a free meal for dad with purchase of an eligible entrée at participating restaurants June 17.
  • Dad can get a complimentary bottle of 100% pure maple syrup when you dine at any of the First Watch restaurant on June 17. You’ll find First Watch eateries in the following states: Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
  • Does Dad like to eat out? A number of restaurants are offering bonus gift cards when you buy gift cards.

Free stuff for Dad

  • 14 museums nationwide will give dad free museum admission on Father’s Day. This is part of Wired Magazine’s National Geekdad Day.
  • Want to try to win dad a free man cave? On June 16, all Old Navy stores will feature pop-a-shot basketball games where Dad has the chance to win a DIY Network Man Cave and other prizes including flat screen TVs, grills and toolkits in the Old Navy Shoot and Score one-day contest. Everyone who participates, whether they make a basket or not, gets a $10 off $75 coupon valid June16.
  • Take Dad Go-Karting for free on Father’s Day. At K1 Speed Indoor Go Kart Racing, you’ll get a free race when you buy two races. (K1 Speed locations can be found in Texas, California, Arizona, Washington State and Florida.)
  • Get a free Kodak photo collage for dad at a Kodak kiosk in CVS or Target. Details are on the KODAK Facebook page. The deal ends June 17.
  • Flying Southwest Airlines on Father’s Day? Check out all the freebies Dad can enjoy on board his flight.

Here are some extra goodies we found on MSN

This guest post comes from Lou Carlozo at Dealnews.

Free subscription to Car and Driver magazine

It may be a stereotype that men are hardwired to care about cars, but in the (somewhat likely) scenario that your father is an auto enthusiast, consider signing him up for this deal: Mercury Magazines offers a Car and Driver magazine 1-Year subscription for free, in exchange for information about you and your company. (As such, only “qualified” individuals are eligible.)

Free XM OnyX Radio bundle

If Dad does enjoy cruising around in his set of wheels, then perhaps he could use some improved tunes. Weighing in as the best deal we’ve ever seen from XM Satellite Radio, the company currently offers its XM OnyX Radio with an XM PowerConnect FM Transmitter Vehicle Kit and 30 Days of XM Satellite Radio for free.

You will, however, have to foot the $11 shipping fee, and if you don’t cancel before the 30-day trial ends, your credit card will automatically be subscribed to a recurring quarterly subscription plan at the current rate every three months. (This plan is currently $43.47 for three months.) See the terms and conditions for more information.

Free Father’s Day iPad app

Visit the Apple Store and you’ll get the Father’s Day iPad app by The Rosa Group, which comes with suggestions for the top gifts, things to do and facts about Father’s Day. Consider this freebie a risk-free investment in helping to find Dad a great gift — and an app that Dad will get a kick out of too. Because who doesn’t love trivia, after all?

Free samples galore

OK, so free samples are perhaps not the best freebie to give to Dad, but that doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from one of these deals, after all that diligent shopping for someone else, right?

The manliest of the bunch includes this New York Yankees fragrance sample, which we actually think Dad might appreciate (when it eventually arrives) since it probably smells exactly like Derek Jeter. There’s also a Clear Men Scalp Therapy sample on the table (which you can receive after “liking” them on Facebook), as well as these offers.

If we find any other Father’s Day freebies, we’ll be sure to pass on the news.  Happy Father’s Day to all of you!
