Georgia Carrier Charged With Trailer Theft

Bradley K. Blackshear, 34,  the owner of Q&B Trucking of Macon, GA, has been arrested for stealing 21 trailers from counties surrounding Macon.

According to a news release from Lt. Sean DeFoe, on Thursday, investigators found the stolen trailers on the property of KT Recycling, at 1773 Jeffersonville Road in east Macon.

Upon investigation, authorities learned that Blackshear had been selling off the trailers to KT Recycling over the last several months.  Investigators also found scrap pieces of trailers on the Blackshear’s property, as well.

“The recovered trailers had been stolen from Macon as well as Bibb, Butts, Dooly, Laurens, Newton and Monroe counties,” Macon.com reported.

Blackshear is being held on a $46,400 bond.  He is also facing additional charges by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the Dooly County Sheriff’s Office, the Butts County Sheriff’s Office and the East Dublin Police Department
