Hatfields and McCoys Series To Premier on The History channelFans of gun-slinging Westerns, get excited! The History Channel is premiering a new two-hour,  three-part mini series, Hatfields &McCoys— the true story of the legendary feuding families.

Anse Hatfield and Randall McCoy’s story began at the end of the Civil War, when the two were still friends.  After the war, the friends– and neighbors– went home and quickly became enemies when they began feuding over land.  The families’ feud  quickly divided families, friends and eventually states, and almost resulted in a full-out war between Kentucky and West Virginia.

The story of the Hatfields and McCoys begins on the History Channel, on Monday, May 28, 2012, at 9/8c.
