The 1st ever Healthy Trucking Driver of the Year award was presented to truck driver Allen Herdon, of Heartland Express, at the annual Healthy Trucking Summit in Atlanta, Georgia.
Herdon was selected as the winner because of his commitment to living a healthy lifestyle. Herdon has a daily routine of running, riding a stationary bike, preparing his own meals and getting adequate sleep.
The Healthy Trucking Driver of the Year is sponsored by the HTA, Navistar and Fusion Health.
