Open market shoppers in London this week were presented with some interesting options for butcher cuts. Proprieters opened a human butcher shop in the Smithfield market East London.
Yes it is real meat, though (sigh…FINE), apparently it is not human meat.
The limbs, torsos, and offal were crafted by food artist Sharon Baker. Sales proceeds will go to the Limbless Association.
“Resident Evil” is a survival horror video game series that’s bloody, to say the least. It’s fitting, then, that the promotional launch for the latest installment feature meaty offerings from the “gory world of Wesker & Son, the fictional butcher with a penchant for human flesh,” according to a release.
The make-believe butchery WAS open for two days on September 28 and 29. We’re assuming it wasn’t open longer because the market management got tired of explaining the prank to upset shoppers.
