Idaho Trucker Wins Mega Millions Cash Prize

Joseph Graham, a trucker from southeastern Idaho has claimed a $250,000 Mega Millions prize, but says he hasn’t quit his day job just yet.

Graham’s winning ticket matched the first five numbers of the March 23 national lottery drawing, 6, 17, 19, 20, 21 – but  not the Mega Ball.

Graham says he waited so long to cash in his winning ticket because he needed a day off of work to make the trek to the Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise.

On Thursday of last week, Graham turned over his winning ticket to the Idaho Lottery officials.

The American Falls gas station that sold Graham the ticket will also receive a $20,000 bonus from the Idaho Lottery.

Recently, winners of the record $656 million Mega Millions jackpot from March 30 have started coming forward amid weeks of intense national speculation.

Maryland resident and McDonald’s employee, Mirlande Wilson, claimed to have the winning Maryland ticket, but said she has “lost” it.

However, this week, three teachers from a Maryland school, who call themselves ‘the three amigos,’  came forward with the winning Maryland Mega Millions ticket, laying Wilson’s claims to rest.
