As many of you know by now, CDL Life will be at this year’s Mid -America Truck Show (MATS) in Louisville, Kentucky, March 22-24th.
The first MATs was held in 1972 and feature 83 exhibitors and hosted 4,000 visitors. This year, more than 1,300 exhibitors and 90,000 visitors are expected.
One of the show’s feature events is the Paul K. Young Truck Beauty Championship, named for the MATS founder. According to the show’s site, this year marks the 23rd annual PKY Truck Beauty Competition. and the ” largest grouping of show trucks in the country, all vying for honors in the country’s premier truck beauty show. The event, which has become a star attraction at the Mid-America Trucking Show, celebrates North America’s heavy-duty, working show trucks. Look for the trucks in Lot “J” behind the West Wing.”
This week, it was announced that trucking veteran Karl Dedolph, president of D3 consulting, will be judging the PTY Truck Beauty Competition.
