Drivers traveling through Montana now have more parking options thanks to the opening of a $4.12 million state-of-the-art rest area near Conrad, on Interstate 15.
Planning for the project began nearly a decade ago. Â Last April, the project began to take shape. Â Now the rest area is complete and ready for its first visitors.
On Monday, the rest area officially opened for business.
The rest area features state-of-the-art technology, complete with flatscreen TVs and motion-sensored lights. Â Additionally, the rest area offers eight private bathrooms. Â Gone are the dorm or stall-style bathrooms.
