Drivers traveling through Montana now have more parking options thanks to the opening of a $4.12 million state-of-the-art rest area near Conrad, on Interstate 15.
Planning for the project began nearly a decade ago. Last April, the project began to take shape. Now the rest area is complete and ready for its first visitors.
On Monday, the rest area officially opened for business.
The rest area features state-of-the-art technology, complete with flatscreen TVs and motion-sensored lights. Additionally, the rest area offers eight private bathrooms. Gone are the dorm or stall-style bathrooms.
