Given how successful Christopher Nolan’s BATMAN trilogy was, both at the box office and by re-imagining the caped crusader as a more serious character, the fact he’s producing the latest SUPERMAN franchise reboot may be just what the classic hero needs to recapture the hearts of fans everywhere.
The SUPERMAN franchise tried an unsuccessful reboot back in 2006 placing a virtually unknown actor, Brandon Routh, in the role of the Man of Steel. While the production value was straight A-list Hollywood, the returns were less than exemplary and the Superman property returned to the development stage.
How does the new trailer look? Let’s just say there are a lot of “money shots” and let you decide for yourself. Man Of Steel premiers in theaters on June 14th, 2013. It’s a long time to wait, but it just might be worth it.
