Pilot Flying J Announces Driver Appreciation Month Pilot Flying J said in a statement they recognize and appreciate all that drivers do for their company and our economy. That’s why this month, the company is rolling out a new program called “Driver Driven.”

“The goal of Driver Driven is very simple; it is to thank Professional Drivers through our actions and service. This won’t be just a month long program or a great tag line. Driver Driven will become the culture of Pilot Flying J from our Support Center to our Travel Center locations. Our focus will be on the professional driver and everything we do will center on how it will benefit the driver,” Pilot Flying J President and CEO Jimmy Haslam stated.

According to Haslam, Driver Driven month will include:

  • Driver Appreciation Week is Driver Appreciation Month at our Travel Center locations. Professional Drivers will receive double MyReward points beginning August 28 – October 2.
  • During the official Driver Appreciation Week (September 17 – 21) we will have a special recognition of drivers at all of our locations that will feature many of our Support Center and Field employees at our locations across North America; shaking driver’s hands and listening to their feedback on how we can become their first choice when fueling.

In addition, Pilot Flying J plans to spend $50 million to upgrade its shower facilities by adding “hotel style” shower heads, new hand towels, added hooks, thicker shower mats, new tiles and iPod adaptors.

Pilot Flying J also plans to add more DEF lanes.
