Shaffer Trucking Celebrates 75th Anniversary

Shaffer Trucking of Lincoln, Nebraska is celebrating its 75th anniversary by releasing a series of new, special edition International ProStar anniversary trucks to five lucky drivers.

Each International ProStar truck will be fully customized for the driver and will be emblazoned with the 75th anniversary seal that will also include the number of years the driver has been with the company, along with the total number of miles the driver has driven.

According to the Director of Company Fleets Jonette Zeigler, the five chosen drivers were selected based upon the following factors: safety, mileage, attitude, appearance and the manner in which the driver maintained his or her interior and exterior of the truck.

The five winners to receive the customized trucks are:

Bill Smith

Doug Weaver

Frank Ciotkowski

Jerry Lemons

Tracey Slough

Reaching our 75th anniversary is such an exciting and significant milestone, Zeigler said. The commitment to safety and excellence by our drivers and non-driving associates over the years has brought us to where we are today. We were very pleased to present the trucks to Bill, Doug, Jerry, Frank, and Tracey. These five drivers are a great representation of the many outstanding professional drivers at Shaffer Trucking who will continue to build upon the longstanding success at our company.
