Shinedown formed in 2001 in Jacksonville, Florida.  In the modern rock radio format that focuses on pushing bands really hard in order to sell just one or two singles, Shinedown is a bit of an anomaly. They have proven that they have enormous staying power in the hyper-promotional atmposphere, unloading a total of 14 singles on music and video charts.

Alongside high-grossing international tours, they have sold over 6 million albums worldwide.

The latest single currently resides at number 7 on Billboard rock charts and is called “Bully.” The band has announced plans to create an official video for the song.
