It’s estimated that women truckers only make up around 8% of the total number of transportation industry workers in North America. Anyone who has ever met woman commercial driver knows that it takes a special kind of determination and resourcefulness to continue the long haul. The industry group Women In Trucking believes that these drivers deserve to be recognized for all they do to keep America rolling strong.
