VIDEO: Swamp Loggers Series Cancelled

The Discovery Channel Series Swamp Loggers has met the same fate as America’s Toughest Trucker. The show no longer appears on the Discovery Channel line up of shows and the Swamp Loggers facebook pages confirms the show will not go on.

The reality series followed the Goodson family business, Goodson All Terrain Logging Inc., in North Carolina, and their race to haul 100 or more loads per day.

On their forum, the crew said Discovery Channel didn’t tell them why the show was being cancelled.  Fans are saddened and disappointed.

In a statement Lori Goodson said,

“We have finally got some news form Discovery and I’m sad to say they are NOT going to renew.

“We have always said we want the Lords will and we have to take this as His will and who knows what He has in store next! We just praise Him for all He’s done through this show!

“We want to thank all of you, you will never know how much you mean to us and how much of an encouragement you have been! We have made a lot of friends and hope we will all stay in touch.

“If anyother news comes up I will be sure to pass it on, and again THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

Love all of you!”

In an interview with Star News Online, Bobby Goodson said he was “surprised the show was not going to continue but noted that it would be much easier to work without the  camera and production crew around.”
