All involved in the trucking industry were invited to join Travel Centers of America and Trucking Solutions Group in the 3rd annual Health Awareness Walk today, March 23, 2012, at 9:00 am at the Mid-America Truck Show.
The non-competative 1.5 mile walk was free to participants. Refreshments, t-shirts and goodie bags were offered to walkers.
To participate, walkers registered at truckingsolutionsgroup.org or a the TA/Petro booth 19156. Walkers met at the west wing of the Kentucky Expo Center, room WH2 at 8:00 am.
TA and Petro, together with Trucking Solutions Group are working towards making personal health and fitness easier for all truckers. TravelCenters rolled out its StayFitprogram in 2010, offering healthy restaurant menu options and travel store items and free fitness centers and mapped walking trails nationwide.
