Truckload Authority will not only communicate TCA’s activities and initiatives to our members, but will provide exclusive and pertinent insights, news and industry analysis you just can’t get anywhere else, said Robert Low, TCA’s chairman and the president and founder of Prime inc., of Springfield, Mo. Truckload executives will find this tool to be a significant resource for helping them manage their businesses, which is what belonging to TCA is all about.
The new publication is the brainchild of TCA’s immediate past chairman, Gary Salisbury, president and CEO of Fikes Truck Line, Inc., of Hope, Ark. Salisbury felt that TCA needed an all-in-one platform for educating, informing, and building goodwill between the organization’s leadership and members. In addition, he envisioned Truckload Authority as a vehicle to promote a positive image of the professional truck driver and spotlight TCA’s efforts in this area. We have needed this platform for a long time, and I am humbled and thankful that I get to be a part of the first issue, he said.
After the inaugural edition, Truckload Authority‘s second issue will come out in December 2012. Thereafter, it will be produced quarterly.
