In the land of oil, Texas trucking company Central Freight Lines is being honored for their use of natural gas to fuel their fleet.
“Our focus is both a safe and clean initiative that sets Central Freight apart from other carriers,” said Don Orr, president and CEO of Central Freight.. “We are committed to testing compressed natural gas tractors that are being added to our fleet next month in an effort to improve air quality in the areas where we operate, specifically here in Texas.”

The Texas Motor Transportation Association (TMTA) awarded Central Freight Lines 1st place in the P&D Division Fleet Safety Award and 1st place in the 10-20 million miles class award.
