The Future of Trucks?

If the Jetson’s were right, we will all be flying through the air by the year 2062.

If German engineer Luigi Colani is right, big trucks will take on a more aerodynamic form. Colani says big rig trucks are currently designed to be inefficient.  He has come up with several prototypes he says can still perform like a big truck.

Colani’s current concept truck cost $1 million.  What do you think of his designs?  Will they catch on, or is he just a mad scientist?
