More than 34 tornadoes ripped through the South on Christmas day, and today, many will be waking up to survey the damage in the daylight.
A carrier in Prichard, Alabama was rocked by a tornado on Christmas evening. Employees at Miller’s Transporters report seeing a tornado picking up and throwing 10,000 pound containers like wads of crumpled paper.
A Miller’s Transporters employee told Fox 10, “I looked out my windshield and saw the storm cloud coming over the tree line outside. I made a run for the building.”
The container hit one of the buildings and ripped off part of the roof.
The damage will be surveyed today.
