Twenty-four-year-old Jabril Jama of Seattle, was riding in a truck with driver Brian Scott who stopped his truck along with two other trucks just short of a railroad overpass to check the railroad bridge’s height to make sure their trucks could pass under the bridge without hitting it.
Jama and his passenger were standing in the road when a minivan heading south struck Jama.
According to the Leader Corning, Jama suffered a sever head wound and a broken leg.
It is unclear if the bridge had clearly marked height restrictions.
