Truck Driver Pulled Out Of His Truck Beaten, Robbed

Lost Georgia Trucker Robbed At Gunpoint In Jersey City

On Sunday, a 61-year-old truck driver was pulled from his truck, severely beaten and robbed at the Madison, Georgia Pilot.  The incident occurred at approximately 5:55 a.m.

The victim said he was asleep in his bunk when noticed someone opening the unlocked passenger door of his truck.

According to the Morgan County Citizen, the man tried to fight off the suspect who is described as a black male in his mid-30s with a scar from his eye to the crown of his head.

The suspect pulled the man from the cab and onto the concrete below, then took $330 from the victim, then fled the scene.

According to authorities, the victim was covered in blood. He was taken to Morgan Memorial Hospital.

The suspect left behind a Nike sneaker and several finger prints.
