VIDEO: Truck Driver Pulls Unconscious Woman From Burning Car

Published:

A FedEx Express driver is being called a hero after saving an unconscious woman from a burning car just moments before it exploded.

Scott Teuscher was driving along Highway 20 near Grass Valley, Calif., when he happened upon a wreck between a truck and a Honda Civic.

Pulling his own truck off the highway, Teuscher went to the scene to offer his help.  He asked the witnesses if everyone was okay.  When he inquired about the whereabouts of the Civic driver, no one seemed to know if he or she had made it out of the burning vehicle.

Teuscher ran to the Civic to find an unconscious woman slumped over the steering wheel.  He opened the driver’s side door and pulled the woman from the car.  Seconds later, the car exploded, sending the car’s parts flying through the air.

Teuscher says what he did that day wasn’t heroic.

“I would just hope someone would do the same thing for me and my family.”
