Truckers, Name That Burger

Published:

The Average American consumes 110 pounds of beef each year.  As it turns out, the hamburger is a favorite entree for many.  In celebration of America’s favorite meal, Travel Centers of America and Petro have come up with 2 burger concoctions and want drivers to help name them.

TA and Petro Iron Skillet have unveiled new burger combinations, created by the corporation’s executive chef.

Both burgers contain a 1/2 lb. of chopped steak, lettuce, tomato and pickle, served on a sesame seed bun.

The TA burger boasts teriyaki sauce, wasabi mayo and Swiss cheese, while the Petro burger has breaded jalapenos, chipotle mayo and pepper jack cheese– YUM!

Entrys will be judged based on:

30% originality

30% descriptive nature

40% appetite appeal

If reading the burger’s descriptions has your mouth watering, you can order the burgers at TA and Petro Iron Skillets nationwide from April 25- May 31.

Two grand prize winners will each receive 25,000 UltraOne points and their burger name will be featured in TA and Petro Iron Skillets across the country.

For entire contest details and restrictions, visit the Name That Burger site.

Here are a few ideas we came up with: The Jumpin’ Jack Burger, The Better Take an Antacid Before You Eat this Burger Burger, The United Nations Burger, and The Anti-Diet Burger.

Oh well, maybe you’ll have more luck than we did.  Good luck!
