How many times have you been hauling a load of freight before being confronted with a, shall we say, “questionable looking bridge?” For truckers in North America, there’s usually an alternate route where you’re going. Just punch it into the GPS unit and off you go.
Sometimes there’s no alternative, so truck drivers are faced with some difficult decisions.
So while this guy gave it a good try, ultimately he made the wrong decision.
He’s basically lucky he didn’t lose his semi truck cab in the process. Assuming they can get a crane out that far into the bush – we have no idea.
Either way, this is definitely another example of typical trucker’s luck. Be smart out there guys!
