Jessica Ridgeway was last seen by her mother at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, October 5, when Jessica was walking to her friend’s house in Westminster, Colo., so the two could walk to school together. Jessica never made it to her friend’s house or to school.
Over the weekend, Ridgeway’s backpack and water bottle were found near her home.
Police don’t have any witnesses or suspects at this time; however, several reports have been made to Maine police about a girl matching Ridgeway’s description traveling in a light blue Buick with Colorado plates in the town of Dexter, Maine.
“Police told WABI-TV that they received a similar report from the town of Harmony, which is about 15 miles away from Dexter. The caller reported a girl matching Ridgeway’s description in the same vehicle Sunday,” Fox 4 Kansas City reported.
