Veteran’s Day Freebies

Freebies For Veteran's Day Veterans sacrifice their time and their lives to serve our country, and they should be honored far more often that Veteran’s Day.  These companies value and appreciate all that veterans have done, and they want to show their appreciation by offering a free or discounted meal or service.

Here are the freebies offered to veterans on Veteran’s Day:

Sunday deals:

Applebees- Show your military ID card and receive a free Applebees Signature Entree.  For Appleebees locations, follow this link.

On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina- From open to close on Veteran’s Day, Sunday, November 11, all guests who visit any participating On The Border restaurant can present the ‘Sizzling Salute to Veterans’ flyer, and On The Border will donate 15% of the total purchase toCarry The Load, a non-profit organization whose mission is to reinforce the meaning of Memorial Day across the United States while steering attention and resources towards existing non-profit organizations that support veterans, their families and veteran organizations. Guests can access and print the ‘Sizzling Salute to Veterans’ flyer directly from Facebook or at http://www.ontheborder.com/carrytheload.

Bar Louie- Free lunch or dinner up to $11.00.  Dine in only.  Good Sunday and Monday.

Chili’s – Veterans can enjoy a free meal at Chili’s on Veteran’s Day from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants– Veterans can enjoy a complimentary entree from a special menu at participating McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants on Veteran’s Day.  Reservations are recommended.

Olive Garden– Olive Garden is offering veterans a free meal.  Veterans may choose from the following menu options: seafood alfredo; chicken parmigana; unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks; grilled sausage and pepper rustica; spaghetti with meat sauce.

Famous Dave’s-  Discounts for veterans will vary by location.  Check Famous Dave’s for a location near you.

Monday:

Lone Star Steakhouse– Veteran’s and current military members are invited to enjoy a free appetizer at Lone Star Steakhouse (excluding the Taste of Texas Sampler) on Monday, November 12.  Be sure to call ahead to verify local participation.

Sizzler Steak House – On Monday, November 12, veterans and service members are invited to enjoy a complementary lunch.  Veterans may choose any lunch item from a select menu until 4:00 p.m.

Denny’s- Enjoy free all you can eat pancakes at any participating Denny’s location from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Golden Corral- Free meal for all current military members and veterans from 4-9.

T.G.I. Fridays.- Enjoy a free lunch from 11-2 at all participating T.G.I. Friday’s locations.

On Monday, November 12th, we want to say, “Thank You” to members of our Military.

Texas Roadhouse-As a thank you, Texas Roadhouse is rolling out the red, white and blue carpet for our active, former, and retired members of the military. So when you stop by your favorite family steak restaurant this Monday, November 12, your lunch is on us.

Our special Veteran’s lunch menu includes a number of our mouth-waterin’ favorites (like our hand-cut steaks and made-from-scratch sides). Veterans can select one of the following entrees (plus your choice of a Coca-Cola® product, Iced Tea/Sweet Tea or coffee):

·         6oz. Sirloin Steak (with two sides)
·         Country Fried Steak (with two sides)
·         Country Fried Sirloin (with two sides)
·         Pulled Pork Dinner (with two sides)

Red Robin– Veterans and current military members can enjoy a free Red’s Tavern Double burger and bottomless fries.
