Chevelle is a band formed out of the northern Chicago suburb called Grayslake, Illinois. The original lineup consisted of three brothers, Joe, Sam and Pete Loeffler. Since then, Sam has been replaced on bass by family friend Dean Bernardini.
Their new video for the song “Face To the Floor” has been rocketing up heavy music charts with a fan-pleasing mix of angular guitar riffs, alternating vocal harmonies and rattling roars, and some slick production that illustrates the confusion generated by the stock market crash and recovery.
Their newest single is off of their 2011 full-length album “Hats Off to the Bull” and makes stark references to sounds from bands like Tool, Helmet, Shinedown and Alice In Chains.
