We can admit it now – we’re 100% addicted to all of these POV GoPro® HD Camera videos. Those rugged little cameras can be put on virtually any surface and take high quality video footage. People have put them on drag cars, hang gliders, skateboards and even F-15 fighter jets. We shoot with them, we love them.
This time, we’re gettin’ dirty (in a good way). We found the video of motocross racer Ryan Sipes. This was footage from the final round of the 2011 Arlington Monster Energy Supercross.
Ryan is an up and coming rider in the AMA Supercross SX Lites division, riding for Yamaha. The bike he’s riding in this video is a Yamaha YZ250F.
In 2011 SX Series he capped the season off with a win in the Dave Coombs Memorial East/West shootout race in Las Vegas, NV. For 2012 his goals are one thing, win races and contend for the West coast 250F championship, then become a household name.
Sipes comes from a family of motocross racers, and it is how he became involved in the sport. Both his father and mother raced, and his brother Justin also races professionally.
Anyway, on to the racing!
