Video: Real Life Hot Wheel Track

Published:

When you were a kid, did you dream of waking up on Christmas morning with a new Hot Wheels track sitting under the tree?

On Saturday morning, LA residents woke up to see a real life Hot Wheels track, standing 66 feet tall with a double vertical loop and two real Hot Wheels cars. The track is a replica of the new Hot Wheels track Double Dare Snare, now available in stores.

The track was set-up at the 2012 X Games in downtown Los Angeles, in an attempt at breaking the Double Loop World Record.

The cars were driven by Hollywood stunt driver Greg Tracy and  Formula Draft Champion Tanner Foust.

Watch and see if they completed their attempt below.
