BREAKING NEWS: April 3rd, 2012 – The Schneider terminal in Dallas county near Arlington, Texas was tossed by a tornado this afternoon, causing unbelievable damage to the facility.
In this video, you can see at least 8 full-sized semi trailers get picked up like scraps of paper and thrown hundreds of feet.
UPDATE: A new tornado warning was issued about 2:45 p.m. CT for Arlington, which is between Dallas and Fort Worth.
Local affiliates are saying that all regional and international air travel has been suspended as the storm gathers strength.
For a while, it looked as if the storm was also headed to the stadium areas, and the Six Flags amusement park, but the funnels didn’t drop at that time. This perhaps prevented millions more dollars in damage.
Initial reports suggest that there have been no deaths, however emergency services are still overloaded with calls for help, and tornado sightings.
