Vintage Truck Show in Joplin, Missouri May 2012

Published:

All Roads Lead To Joplin Missouri 2012For the one year anniversary of the devastation tornado in Joplin, Missouri, the Speedco Truck Stop held the All Roads Lead to Joplin celebration to help generate money and awareness of the small town that’s still recovering from the disaster. One of the more popular displays that helped draw truck drivers and other people of the region was the Vintage Truck Show.

Some of the semi trucks and work trucks on display had been retired only a short time, such as the late 80s Peterbilts and Kenworth models. Others had been carefully restored and taken care of for decades, such as the 1946 White WA22 Super Sleeper, and Wolf Wrecker.

Whatever your preference, the show featured something for any fan of big rigs, young or old. Find out more about the All Roads Lead to Joplin event to see what you missed. It was a great time, and Joplin families and businesses were truly grateful to all who came out to show their support!
