According to KTLA, today, two tour buses crashed on the 15 Freeway in Corona, California.
The bus crashes appear to have been unrelated.
The first bus crashed on southbound 15 and the second bus crash was heading north.
In the southbound crash, 1 passenger died and 20 passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Minutes after the first crash, the northbound bus crashed. ABC News reports 30 passengers received minor to moderate injuries.
The northbound bus was headed to the Valley View Casino.
That crash occurred within minutes of the second incident that left at least one person dead and several others hurt on the 15 Freeway in Fallbrook, about 40 miles to the south.
“The crashes came as rain and snow hit Southern California amid a cold storm system that prompted the National Weather Service to warn about potentially dangerous road conditions,” KTLA reported.
