Boys Steal Truck, Lead Police On 3-County Chase According to WATE, two juveniles are accused of stealing a truck and trailer in Morristown, Tennessee on Wednesday morning. The children led police on a 3-rounty chase before crashing in Knoxville.

Morristown Police say the boys were ages 12 and 14.  Their names are not being released. They allegedly stole the truck from Universal Forest Products.

Police began pursuit of the truck after an officer saw the truck hit a curb and attempted to pull over the truck.

The chase began in Morristown continued through Jefferson County and ended in Knoxville.

The boys crashed the truck on Asheville Highway and  knocked over a light pole.

The 12-year-old by was apparently driving the truck, because he was charged with speeding, disregarding a red light, not having a driver’s license, improper lane changes and other moving violations.  Both boys have been charged with vandalism over $1,000, being a runaway and theft over $10,000.
