Driver Accused Of Stealing $80K Worth of Fuel

According to the Star Gazette, a 49-year-old fuel truck driver has been accused of stealing $80,000.00 worth of fuel. He has been charged with second-degree larceny and first-degree falsifying business records.

Authorities began investigating Anthony M. Vaccaro, of Windsor, New York, after receiving several tips from others.

Vaccaro allegedly used his truck to steal, transport, then sell fuel to cash-paying customers.

Investigators did not release details on how Vaccaro carried out the crime.

On Monday, Vaccaro was indicted by a grand jury.  He was taken to the Tioga County jail and his bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 property bond.
