The driver, Jimmie Williams, said that in May of 2010, he suffered from a“temporarily cough for an extended period of time and caused him to faint,” the suit says.
Williams took time off from his job to seek medical attention. He underwent several tests including an electrophysiology and underwent a heart catheterization. In the end, the driver was handed a clean bill of health stating that his test results had all come back “normal.”
Despite the all clear from his doctor, when Williams returned to work at J.B. Hunt, he was terminated.
Williams would like his job reinstated. On August 27, William’s attorney filed papers in the Houston Division of the Southern District seeking reinstatement.
