The Pleasanton Express has reported that an Oklahoma driver was found dead in his truck in Pleasanton, Texas.
On Friday, employees at Bar K on South Main street in Pleasanton noticed a truck had been parked in the lot since Wednesday. When they went to ask the driver to move his truck and they discovered the driver’s body inside.
Fifty-six-year-old truck driver James Harvey Rains was pronounced dead on Friday afternoon by a justice of the peace.
The Pleasanton Express reported that Rains died of a massive heart attack.
Hurley Funeral Home picked up Rains’ body and his truck was towed away.
Justice of the Peace Jackie Bodden says this incident sends a message to others that we all need to pay attention to our surroundings.
