Driver Struck and Killed On Will Rogers Turnpike

According to News on 6, a truck driver was struck and killed on the Will Rogers Turnpike in Oklahoma this morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m., when a truck driven by 59-year-old Brar Sukhchain Singh of Delano, California, struck a concrete barrier, causing the truck to catch on fire.

Singh and his passenger jumped from the burning truck.  Singh ran across the eastbound lanes and was struck by an oncoming Subaru.

The Subaru then spun out of control and landed in a creek bed.

Singh died at the scene.  The Subaru’s occupants suffered minor injuries but refused treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
