Driver Struck and Killed On Will Rogers Turnpike

According to News on 6, a truck driver was struck and killed on the Will Rogers Turnpike in Oklahoma this morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m., when a truck driven byĀ 59-year-old Brar Sukhchain Singh of Delano, California, struck a concrete barrier, causing the truck to catch on fire.

Singh and his passenger jumped from the burning truck. Ā Singh ran across the eastbound lanes and was struck by an oncoming Subaru.

The Subaru then spun out of control and landed in a creek bed.

Singh died at the scene. Ā The Subaru’s occupants suffered minor injuries but refused treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
