Former New Jersey Trucking Company Owner Unveils A Mysterious House

Published:

-820b0fdb90f71f01Former New Jersey trucking company owner, Yiorgos Kyriakopoulos has revealed the mysterious history behind a house that’s been sitting atop a Syracuse, New York factory since the late 1800’s. Until now, those who have passed by were left without answers about the mysterious shack.

Although it bears a striking resemblance to a house, that’s not why it was erected – and no one has ever lived there. It actually contains the motor that powers the five-story building’s freight elevator. It was originally built to attract attention to the factory by Harvey Moyer, owner of the old Moyer carriage and car factory. As time passed, and the factory building changed ownership – the secret behind the purpose of the house was kept, and no close inspection of it was allowed.

Owner, Yiorgos decided to allow a photographer in and share the story after he took ownership last year. He plans to turn the building into store fronts and loft apartments in the future. As for the mysterious house – Yiorgos enjoys the view. He currently plans restore the shack and to turn it into his office.
