Georgia Driver Killed Helping Motorists

A Georgia driver was killed last night in an accident on Highway 21 while trying to assist other motorists.

The driver was directing traffic around his stalled truck on Thursday night (December 5th).

According to Alabama State Troopers, the fatality occurred in front of a Chevron station in Alabama across from a Muskogee Inn at 5:15 p.m.

Driver, Terry Hines (47) was unfortunately struck by a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu while directing northbound traffic through the rain.

According to witnesses, the impact sent the driver’s body into the air, and up onto the I-65 ramp. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
