We’ve said it, and we’ll say it again – you can’t fix stupid.
For whatever reason, an astonishing number of people blindly follow the seemingly trustworthy glowing arrow of their GPS guide, never once questioning the accuracy of the device – until it’s much too late. It reminds me of the three-point-turn scenario from Austin Powers, but in a much more dramatic – costly insurance claim sort-of way.

…I thought we rented an Amphibious Car.
Perhaps that ‘Never Lost’ GPS should have spent a little more time, and double checked it’s recalculation. Or perhaps, the driver should have double checked the rental agreement and paperwork before assuming that her Mercedes could handle what was on the end of that… boat ramp?

This one might take the cake. According to the Huffington Post, a 67-year-old Belgian woman once headed out to pick up a friend 90 miles from her home. Over 900 miles, and 5 countries later, and 2 days later – she realized the possibility that she had taken a wrong turn. – We’re not sure if it’s worse that this happened, or that she actually admitted it to anyone.
