Tired of “reality” trucking TV shows? Â A new, scripted trucking drama may soon be coming to Showtime.
Deadline reports that screenwriter Tony Tost, has scripted a new trucking drama entitled Heartland Trucking.  The TV show is said to take a scripted look at the world of truck drivers in America, specifically middle America.  The show’s focus is said to center on a family-run trucking business.
Early reports of the show’s plots hint at drama and crime… sort of a trucking Dynasty(?)
