RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — The Hilb Group, LLC (“THG”) is pleased to announce the acquisitions of CSE Insurance Agency, Inc. and CSE Financial Services, Inc. of Abingdon and Wise, Virginia, and B&H Insurance Services, Inc. of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Both transactions closed in the fourth quarter of 2012.
The CSE companies trace their roots to 1925 and were one of the largest independent insurance agencies in southwest Virginia. CSE professionals provide commercial, personal and employee benefit solutions across a wide portion of southwest Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee. Robert J. B&H Insurance Services, Inc., based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, was founded in 1989 by Harry Grubbs, a former trucking company executive, and his wife Barbara Grubbs.
