Investigators recently searched NASCAR driver Mike Harmon, suspected of stealing from fellow driver Jennifer Jo Cobb. The search warrants were served Tuesday night at a storage shed in Catawba County and Harmon’s shop in Mooresville, N.C.
Harmon and Cobb both drive for Camping World Truck Series. In all, seven vehicles were seized from Harmon, two race cars and five race trucks.
At this point, Harmon claims he is innocent of the charges. Although, Cobb’s former business partner, David E. Novak, 45, of Ill., was charged a week ago for his involvement.
Harmon used to be team manager for Cobb’s Nationwide team. Harmon, ranked 32nd in the 2013 Nationwide standings, was arrested two weeks ago in connection to the theft of a trailer from Cobb’s racing team.
