Reports say that a 2-mile long arctic Norwegian tunnel was blocked for six days by 27 metric tons of flaming cheese. That’s right – cheese.

A truck load of burning brunets cheese – a delicacy in Norway blocked – off the coastal tunnel from last Thursday until Monday when the fire was extinguished. According to policeman, Viggo Berq, “This high concentration of fat and sugar is almost like petrol if it gets hot enough.”

Brunets, brown cheese – which is made from whey, has a caramel taste.

The incident was the first of it’s kind in Norway, and the tunnel will be closed to traffic for repairs.

We’re wondering if anybody brought graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows  to this s’more lover’s dream come true!
