Missing truck driver Lawrence Peter Muirhead, 53, last checked in with his family on September 28. He was scheduled to arrive in Nogales, Arizona on October 1. He never made it to his destination.
Today, Merriam, Kansas police found Muirhead’s abandoned 2004 Freightliner at a parking lot in the 8700 block of Shawnee Mission Parkway.
Muirhead is described as a muscular, 5’10”, 220 pound man with short brown hair and blue eyes.
According to the Missing Truck Driver Alert Network, “Truck has been located on the 8700 block of Shawnee Mission Parkway in Merriam KS; load, wallet, and cell phone are present, no sign of a struggle. Media and hospitals in the area have been alerted. DRIVER IS STILL MISSING AT THIS TIME.”
