My CDLLife Guest Writer, Photographer and Videographer Contest


Are you an amateur or hobby writer, photographer or videographer?  If so, this is your chance to show off your talent and win some really great prizes!

CDLLife is now accepting submissions to the My CDLLife Guest Writer, Photographer and Videographer contest.  Submissions will be accepted until 12:00 p.m., CMT,  Friday, December 13.  The winners will be announced on Friday, December 20 (just in time for Christmas!)

The Details:

The contest is open to all mediums but should be relevant to the trucking industry:

-Video (Videos must be sent directly to [email protected].  Please put “My CDLLIfe: Video Submission” in the subject line.)

-Writing (News, Editorial, Informative, Entertaining, etc.)

-Creative Writing (Short story, Poetry, etc.)


-iPad mini– First prize for written submissions
-GoPro — First prize for photography and videography
-Gift Cards– Overall runners up– $100, $50 and $25
– A chance at winning a guest job with CDLLife (Paid position!)

Judging will be based on:
-Clicks/ Views 50%
-Likes 30%
-Panel of judges 20%
Fine Print: 

The contest is open to all!  Anyone can make a submission.

All back links would be stripped.
Content must be original. (Not share with any other site)  If it’s on your blog, or another site, it is not eligible.  
Must not plagiarize or borrow copyrighted photos.
*CDLLife will read/check every submission before they’re posted.  If the submissions have been plagiarized, they will not be posted.  If the content is libelous and is not backed up with facts or evidence, for your protection, we will not post it.  If your submission is not eligible for posting, we will notify you.  

*You will not be notified when your post will run, so check our facebook and website often!
